At Chords of Hope Inc., we believe that every child and family deserves safety, healing, and the chance to thrive. While our work often involves protecting children from domestic violence, our mission goes beyond crisis intervention—we are dedicated to breaking cycles of abuse, empowering survivors, and creating pathways to long-term stability.
Domestic violence is a deeply complex issue, and removing a child from harm is just the first step in a much longer journey. Legal battles, emotional trauma, and financial instability can make recovery feel impossible. That’s why we take a holistic approach, addressing immediate dangers while also providing the tools survivors need to rebuild their lives with confidence and hope.
Why We Do What We Do
Children who experience domestic violence carry invisible wounds that can last a lifetime. The fear, confusion, and instability they endure don’t disappear when they leave an abusive home—they need ongoing support to heal. But the challenges don’t stop there. Many families face systemic barriers, from navigating court systems to finding safe housing, and without the right resources, the cycle of abuse can continue.
Other organizations may focus solely on emergency shelter or short-term solutions. At Chords of Hope, we recognize that real change requires sustained care, advocacy, and community support. Our mission is to walk alongside survivors at every stage, ensuring they never have to face these challenges alone.
